TasteAtlas (www.tasteatlas.com) – World Food Atlas is a project dedicated to cataloging, preserving, and promoting local ingredients, traditional recipes, and authentic restaurants. The mission of this platform is to catalog the world’s dishes and ingredients, to save our grandmothers’ traditional recipes from oblivion, and to encourage travelers to familiarize themselves with different cultures through high-quality, authentic, local food.
So far, there are more than 10,000 entries of dishes and ingredients in the online base with the newest addition being our Pazinski cukerančić. This traditional pastry which was, due to its original recipe and high cultural importance, declared as intangible cultural heritage of Republic of Croatia fits perfectly the mission of the platform and will now be visible to users around the world.
