Honey Days 2019: Pazinski cukerančić and INSiGHTS panel discussion

On today’s press conference, it was announced that this year’s Honey Days will be held in Pazin on the 22 and 23 of February. The fair is organized in a form of an international exhibition of honey, bee products and beekeeping equipment in the Pazin sports hall with more than 110 exhibitors for all over Europe.
As a special addition to this year’s offer, the traditional local pastry – Pazinski cukerančić will be presented in a slightly different version – with a special addition of honey. All visitors will have the chance to taste and buy this special pastry.
As part of the INSiGHTS project, which LAG “Central Istria” is implementing as one of the partners within Interreg Danube Program, a panel discussion titled AUTHENTIC ISTRIA: Specifics and Potentials will be held on Friday, February 22 starting at 12:00. Within the debate, which will be attended by representatives of national, regional and local public bodies, the possibilities of tourist development of Istria within the territory covered by tourist boards of central Istria, Motovun and Žminj, will be discussed. Additionally, one of the main objectives of the panel discussion will be to present the findings of the national strategy assessment and to this way encourage authorities to include sustainable principles in their documents and actions. Other project results such as the sustainable tourism strategy and interactive map were also presented.
